Terms & Conditions - Express San Antonio Movers

By using the services provided by Express San Antonio Movers, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services.

1. General Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services and website. By accessing or using the services, you agree to abide by these terms.

Our services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

3. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
  • Full payment is due before or on the day of the move, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or cash. We accept all major payment methods.
  • Prices are based on the size and scope of the move, and quotes may vary depending on factors such as distance, time, and specific requirements.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule your move by providing at least 48 hours’ notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
  • If a move is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled date, the deposit will be forfeited.
  • In the event of extreme weather conditions or emergencies, Express San Antonio Movers reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for preparing their belongings for the move, including packing and labeling items. We provide packing services at an additional cost.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there are no hazardous materials in the items being moved. We are not responsible for items that may pose a safety risk.
  • If the move requires us to disassemble or reassemble furniture, the customer must ensure all necessary tools or instructions are provided.

6. Liability

  • Express San Antonio Movers is fully insured for damages that occur during the moving process. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damages or items not properly packed.
  • We are not liable for delays, losses, or damages caused by third parties, such as weather conditions, accidents, or other unforeseen circumstances.

7. Insurance Coverage

  • We provide basic insurance covering up to a certain amount for damages or loss of goods during the move.
  • Customers may request additional insurance coverage for high-value items or fragile goods. Please inform us before the move if additional coverage is needed.

8. Damaged or Lost Items

  • In the event of damage to items, Express San Antonio Movers will assess the situation and compensate according to our insurance policy.
  • Claims for damage must be made within 48 hours of the move. After this period, no claims will be accepted.

9. Prohibited Items

For safety reasons, Express San Antonio Movers does not move the following items:

  • Flammable materials, explosives, or hazardous chemicals
  • Perishable food items
  • Pets or animals
  • Illegal items

10. Safety & Conduct

  • Our movers are trained professionals and will follow all safety procedures during the move. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the pathways are clear and safe for our team to work in.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if any customer or third party acts in a manner that is disruptive, abusive, or unsafe.

11. Privacy Policy

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Express San Antonio Movers, its employees, contractors, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of your actions, negligence, or failure to comply with these terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas. Any legal actions or disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within Texas.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as agreed upon by both parties, before seeking legal recourse.
